Invicta Wind Orchestra

IWO is also conducted by Jeremy Cooper and some players also play in Maidstone Winds. IWO was formed in 1989 and meets up to four times every year for a Saturday of music making culminating in a formal evening concert.

Players need to be at least grade 8 standard and very capable sight-readers. We are always keen to enlist more players

We meet in various venues around Kent including Hamstreet, Folkestone, Deal, and New Romney.

Why not join our e-circular list? There is no particular commitment to play regularly as each concert is fixed on an individual basis, however we do have a core of regular performers.

We frequently share the concert with other groups who help bring a bigger audience and allow us to concentrate on a shorter, more demanding programme.

Uniquely for this sort of ensemble everything is provided free for you!

We have three days planned in 2008.

Want to join us? Contact Jeremy on 07711 950 407 or jh@jhcooper.freeserve.co.uk.

Our 2008 dates are:-

Saturday 1st March 2008 - St George's Church, Deal with Sandown Primary School.
